NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Participation in the Scioto County Democratic Party Pride 2026 Drawing ("Contest") constitutes full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. The Contest is sponsored by the Scioto County Democratic Party.
 

Eligibility: The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Limit one (1) entry per person per entry method per day. No purchase or contribution is required to enter or win. Individuals need not be registered Democrats, registered voters, or affiliated with the Democratic Party to participate. The prize wheel and Plinko activities at the booth are open to all attendees regardless of age; however, entry into the grand prize drawing is restricted to eligible participants as defined herein.

How to Enter: Participants may enter the grand prize drawing through any of the following methods at the Scioto County Democratic Party booth during Pride 2026 on Saturday, June 6, 2026, between the hours of 3:00 PM and 5:30 PM local time:

(a) Lucky Drop. Each chip drop (one per contestant) awards entries into the drawing as determined by the slot in which the chip lands: one (1) entry; two (2) entries; one (1) entry plus a bonus item; or one (1) entry plus a bonus spin of the prize wheel.

(b) Voter Registration Status Check. Any participant who checks his or her voter registration status at the booth — whether by using the booth's tablet, scanning the booth's QR code, or visiting the secretary of state's website on the participant's own device — shall receive one
 

(1) bonus entry into the drawing. This bonus entry is awarded for the act of checking voter registration status only. It is not contingent upon being registered, upon registering, or upon any other voting-related action, and is available regardless of the result of the check.
 

(c) Email List Enrollment. Any participant who provides a valid email address and opts in to receive the Scioto County Democratic Party newsletter shall receive one (1) bonus entry into the drawing. Recipients may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in each email.
 

A valid entry form must include the participant's name and a working telephone number or email address for prize notification purposes. Completed entry forms must be deposited into the official entry receptacle located at the booth.

 

Prize Wheel: The prize wheel is an instant-win activity separate from the grand prize drawing. Each participant may spin the prize wheel once at no cost and regardless of age or any other condition. The participant shall receive the item indicated by the wedge under the pointer at the moment the wheel comes to rest. Prizes are awarded on the spot while supplies last. Spins of the prize wheel do not constitute an entry into the grand prize drawing.

Drawing and Notification: One (1) grand prize drawing will be conducted at approximately 5:45 PM local time on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Scioto County Democratic Party booth at Pride 2026. The grand prize winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the event. The grand prize consists of one (1) Scioto County Democratic Party Pride Swag Pack, which includes one (1) t-shirt, books, and additional Pride-themed promotional items selected by the Party. T-shirt size will be awarded based on availability. The winner need not be present at the time of the drawing. The winner will be notified using the contact information provided on the entry form and may also be announced on the Scioto County Democratic Party's official social media platforms.

Prize Claiming: The grand prize winner must claim the prize in person no later than the conclusion of the Scioto County Democratic Party's regular meeting on Thursday, June 25, 2026, held at the New Boston Community Center from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM local time. Failure to claim the grand prize by the conclusion of that meeting will result in forfeiture, and the prize shall be considered a donation back to the Scioto County Democratic Party, to be used to support Party activities including, but not limited to, future giveaways and promotional events. The prize is non-transferable and no cash or other substitutions will be permitted.

Privacy: The personal information collected in connection with this Contest will be used solely for the administration of the Contest and for prize notification purposes. Email addresses provided voluntarily will be added to the Scioto County Democratic Party newsletter list, from which recipients may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in each email. The Scioto County Democratic Party will not sell, rent, or otherwise share personal information with third parties.
 

General Conditions: Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. The Scioto County Democratic Party reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest, or to disqualify any participant, if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond the Party's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest, as determined by the Party in its sole discretion. The Contest is void where prohibited by law. Participation constitutes permission for the Scioto County Democratic Party to use the winner's name and likeness for publicity purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
