Christmas Parade: Walk With Us!

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to walk with us and help bring some festive energy to this year’s Christmas Parade! Come show your holiday spirit, represent the Scioto Dems, and enjoy an evening of community celebration.

👕 Volunteer Sweatshirt Giveaway

During lineup, volunteers can receive a free “Ugly” Christmas sweatshirt (while supplies and sizes last).

These sweatshirts were provided by a donor. Availability is not guaranteed, and no purchase or contribution is required to participate.

📅 Date: Thursday, December 4th, 2025

⏰ Volunteer Arrival / Lineup: 5:00 p.m.

📍 Location: Shawnee State University parking lot (parade staging area)

Please arrive on time so we can gather, distribute sweatshirts, and get everyone in place before step-off.

🎉 Parade Route

The parade begins at 6:00 p.m. and follows this route:

• Travel north on Waller Street

• Turn west onto Gallia Street

• Continue onto Fifth Street

• Conclude at Valley Wholesale Foods parking lot on Market Street

After the parade, head over to Winterfest for the annual tree-lighting ceremony and a meet-and-greet with Santa! 🎅🌟
